Before 20 Parents Past Experience Wisdom

Day 5: Wisdom from "Elders"
Today I am fortunate enough to have five people in my midst  who have surpassed the age of 20! So, today we get to do interviews with them. I'm excited, you should get excited too.
Interviews Questions:
1) How to get out of a ticket?
Laureen (40): Offer money or mangoes. Best belive the officers will be waiting at your house to receive their prize. (Jamaica)
Bert (47) :  Don't get them. Don't break the law.
Mark ( 49): Smile and be very polite.
Denzil (46): Drive faster than the police. Always carry an onion with you....
Sussannie (45): You gotta be cute and polite.
2) How to manage peer pressure?
Laureen: If you say no enough time they won't bother you anymore.
Bert: You can't avoid peer pressure, but you can avoid confrontation by being an influence. By being influence for good, you show that you aren't impressionable.
Mark: Pick the right friends.
Denzil: Have a solid foundation.
Sussannie: Being comfortable with yourself. Knowing what you like and what you don't like. Carrying God's standards with you in your heart will help you make the right decisions.
3)  When is the right time to start dating?
Laureen: Never!
Bert: It's not Biblical.
Mark:You start courting NOT dating when God has spoken to both of you confirming that you are meant for eachother.
Denzil: Never!
Sussannie: When your courting you should write down all your dates of when you went out.
4) How to unlearn bad habits?
Laureen: Replace the bad habits with good habits.
Bert: Philipians 4:8 - "Finally, brethren whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report: if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Mark: Replace it with something else.
Denzil: Don't do it for 31 days. Temptation must be overcome.
Sussannie:  Recognize its a bad habit, desire a change, seek Divine Aid, and stop it in its tracks and replace.
